Thank you for your thoughts on this post and for your plan to give it a shout-out. As for what you can do -- I think it is very particular to each person but being more aware is a first start. In your situation - do you know why your community is so white? Could you ask management if it is intentional? Could you propose an outreach program to increase diversity because there are SO many benefits to living in a more diverse community? Just some thoughts - but likely easier said then done...
