As a mother of three biracial children - I feel you. As a white woman, I know I've never experienced racism as you have -- but I do live on the periphery. We've had these very discussions in our house about fixing within a broken system, etc. Each of our 3 children have been making quite different decisions for themselves. My heart aches for the complexity added to what are already tough decisions for young people. I hope your daughter finds what works for her.
