From one former nun to another - thank you for sharing your story. Your habit looks almost exactly like the one I wore (also in the convent for 13 years). I'd love to know which congregation you were with. While I never faced racism directly (although many in my congregation were Chinese and that led to cultural clashes), I can relate to how oblivious the nuns were to their own faults.
