Hello Marilyn - I have good HDL and low triglycerides but had issues with my LDL for a few years. Doc wanted me on statins. I tried natural: I focused on increasing my heart rate when I exercise, taking black garlic capsules daily, using black garlic (powder, paste, or bulbs) with cooking several times a week, and cutting bread/pasta/rice type carbs way back (not totally out). My LDL plummeted (and bonus, I've lost 45 pounds). I hope you can find what works for you!
