I’ve self-published three books, each a different genre — and I don’t really market any of them. Why? Because I’m not sure they’re that great.

There. I’ve said it.

This isn’t false humility or imposter syndrome talking. No — it is the cold hard truth. I self-published in a hurry and it shows.

To be fair — some folks have read them and loved them; others agree with me that they are interesting but could certainly use some editing, and still others just couldn’t drudge through them.

Sure, no book is for everyone — but they’re out there in the world. I’ll let them be for now — and I’ll keep writing.

The entire process — and the fact that they are easily available for purchase on Amazon — has taught me a few lessons that I hope others can learn from.
